Playboy Entertainment Group Selects Kibo to Power Honey Birdette’s Omnichannel Order Management and Fulfillment Operations

Luxury apparel brand chooses Kibo for its modern, agile platform, partnering with Perfaware to launch order management solution in 12 weeks.

AUSTIN, TX – June 6, 2024 — Kibo Commerce, a market leader in composable commerce solutions, announces that Playboy Entertainment Group has selected and launched its order management solution to enhance the operations and customer experience for its luxury lingerie apparel brand, Honey Birdette. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for Playboy Entertainment Group as it rolls out an agile order management solution to accelerate time to value, while improving its omnichannel fulfillment and inventory management operations.

Playboy Entertainment Group selected Kibo for its cloud-native, microservices-based architecture that provides unparalleled agility and flexibility as business requirements evolve. Kibo’s Order Management System (OMS) provides real-time inventory visibility across all locations, with intelligent order routing and omnichannel fulfillment to help elevate the customer purchase experience, while reducing costs.

Playboy Entertainment Group partnered with global technology consulting company Perfaware and Kibo’s Professional Services team for its digital transformation. Perfaware and Kibo migrated Honey Birdette’s prior solution and launched the new OMS within a 12 week timeframe, including implementing Ship to Home from Distribution Centers, Ship to Home from Stores, and Buy Online Pickup in Store fulfillment options. The team also implemented new capabilities to improve Honey Birdette’s operations, including:

  • Store picking with Images shown on the Pick Sheets
  • BOPIS Transfer to Store in the case of stock-outs
  • New Order Ready for Pickup and Pickup Reminder Emails
