We’re proud to share that KIBO has been named a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Commerce Platforms — our fourth consecutive year of recognition.

A Challenger Position: What It Signals

In our view, this placement reflects the thesis we’ve built KIBO on: enterprise retailers, manufacturers, and distributors who can’t run their business on a simplistic storefront need a platform that’s unified by design, composable by choice, and intelligent at the core. One that handles intricate B2B and B2C requirements, subscriptions, large catalogs, and high transaction volume without trading off speed for scale.

Built for Enterprise Complexity

Composable by choice: KIBO is deployed as multitenant SaaS on AWS and GCP, with support for Microsoft Azure, and is available as independently deployable modules for catalog, pricing & promotions, cart & checkout, and fulfillment, alongside headless support for SPA, PWA, Jamstack implementations, and a native headless CMS. We believe this flexibility, plus demonstrated shorter implementation times, is exactly what growing enterprises need: the freedom to adopt only the pieces they need, when they need them, without a costly replatform.

Momentum: What We Shipped This Year

Over the past year, KIBO invested in Connect Hub, a Commerce MCP Server, Reverse Logistics with a separately hosted Returns Portal, and B2B OMS enhancements. On the AI side, we introduced Playbooks for backoffice agentic operation and an agent framework built around five core functions (Engage, Configure, Explain, Analyze, and Optimize). This is designed to bring automation into the day-to-day of running commerce, not just the storefront. Together, these moves extend digitalization end-to-end, from product discovery through post-purchase returns.

In our opinion, this year’s Gartner recognition points to the same thing we hear from clients: you don’t have to choose between a single, unified view of your business and the flexibility to deploy exactly what each part of it needs. KIBO gives you both. Unified by design, composable by choice, intelligent at the core, and built to launch fast and scale further: that’s the foundation we’ll keep building on.
