KIBO’s unified composable commerce platform empowers brands and retailers with a comprehensive suite of tools to elevate both prepurchase, mid purchase, and post purchase experiences.

Both on a common foundation of microservices, a unified restful API, and a shared core dataset, the platform offers seamless integration and management across all channels.

Retailers gain unparalleled control over their entire network of locations and inventory regardless of type or quantity.

Modern consumers expect the freedom to shop how they want, when they want, and receive their purchases wherever they want.

KIBO’s platform empowers retailers to meet these demands, going beyond traditional online shopping where items may be picked up or shipped.

In this example, a single order encompasses both in store pickup for two items and direct shipment of the remaining items to the customer’s home.

This exemplifies KIBO’s unified customer experience, seamlessly integrating various fulfillment options within a single transaction.

For simplicity’s sake, we’ll assume the order has been placed and jump to the in store fulfillment.

KIBO’s retailer interface provides an out of the box solution for managing a multitude of orders across various stages and order types, all assigned to a specific location. Take for instance, the buy online pickup in store or click and collect portion of the order.

KIBO’s streamlined workflow allows for easy exception management and step by step processing.

Like similar BPM processes we covered in previous videos, for example, the B2B quote approval process, this default fulfillment flow is completely configurable.

First step is to accept the shipment.

KIBO Commerce receives the BOPIS order, initiating the fulfillment process.

Next, I’ll print the pick list, which is generated by KIBO detailing the items to be collected for the order. With the pick list, I can now validate store stock. Store associates use KIBO’s interface to verify the availability of the items in the pick list, ensuring accurate fulfillment.

After picking the order, store associates are instructed to place boxed or bagged items in the in store pickup hold area and label larger items with a copy of the pick sheet. They then click continue in KIBO’s interface to prepare the order for customer pickup.

Lastly, customer pickup.

The customer is notified that their order is ready to be picked up. Once at the store, the customer can choose to accept or cancel the order. They can confirm their identity by scanning a provided barcode or providing a signature, collect their purchase, and move on with their day. A secure and seamless handoff of the order.

This streamlined process optimizes the BOPIS experience, providing convenience and flexibility for our customers.

Efficiently fulfilling these orders can be as simple as traditional paper picking or scanning UPCs and barcodes to ensure accuracy.

The platform even accommodates last minute order modifications, ensuring customer satisfaction.

If a product happens to be out of stock during fulfillment, the associate can select substitute products to keep the sale.

For enhanced efficiency in larger stores, we can create pick webs, enabling associates to pick multiple orders simultaneously.

KIBO offers the flexibility to handle both bulk pick and pack scenarios, like the one demonstrated, or individual order picking, catering to diverse operational needs.
