Kibo’s Jennifer Sherman Selected as Honoree for Dallas Business Journal’s 2017 Women in Technology Awards

DALLAS  September 14, 2017  Today, Kibo announced that Jennifer Sherman, SVP of Product and Strategy, has been selected as one of 25 honorees for this year’s Dallas Business Journal’s 2017 Women in Technology Awards. The award recognizes prominent female technology leaders in the North Texas region that have played a crucial role in technology innovation across a variety of industries.

Jennifer brings over 17 years of enterprise software experience specializing in larger software ventures. She spent 13 years at Oracle where she held various roles in product management and product strategy for their logistics and supply chain management applications. Following Oracle, she served as SVP of Product Management at Aptean and NAVEX Global. She also worked at Vista Consulting Group,advising and equipping product management leaders across Vista Equity Partners’ portfolio of companies. In her role at Kibo, Jennifer is responsible for Kibo’s product management strategy and is crucial in charting Kibo’s corporate strategy and direction. Within the past year, Jennifer has led the successful integration of Kibo’s five product lines. 

Outside the office, Jennifer continues to push for women leadership in technology and business and was featured as a TEDx speaker on “Women Winning in the Workplace,” at TEDxFiDi Women in 2011. Jennifer has served as a mentor for TechWomen, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that focuses on bringing women who work in technology in the MiddleEast and Africa to work in prominent internships in Silicon Valley. She has also served on the production team for the Wisdom Unlimited Course in Atlanta and San Francisco.

Jennifer has both a Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University where she was a Mayfield Fellow.
