HOBO began working with Kibo in February 2017 and launched on the new platform in early October to be live in time for National Handbag Day on October 10.

A number of new features and functionality were gained on the Kibo platform, including:

- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture – Always on the latest release and no future upgrades required
