Abby Hitchcock’s culinary journey began on Long Island’s East End, shaped by the region’s fishing and farming traditions. Inspired by her parents, she developed a passion for local and exotic foods. While at university in England, Abby discovered her love for food, leading her to attend Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School.
Her career includes stints at renowned establishments in New York and London, eventually culminating in owning Abigail’s Kitchen in Greenwich Village, later moving to the Lower East Side in 2022. A certified sommelier, Abby conducts wine tastings and hosts unique sensory experiences like Dinners in the Dark. She’s not only been a contestant on Food Network’s “Chopped!” but also a regular judge on “Beat Bobby Flay.”
All approved attendees will receive a personal spice blending kit to utilize during the experience. Each kit includes the necessary materials to create magical spices, which you will walk through during the spice blending portion of the event.
